UV Epoxy Resin
You can use this UV resin/epoxy for 2 purposes:
1) Create a super nice shiny effect on your homemade clay jewelry.
2) Attach the earring studs on the back of your clay piece, much stronger than glue.
Use: this resin hardens in UV light, also in ordinary daylight it will react quickly, so be careful where you use it. Use gloves and avoid all contact with skin and eyes.
Put a little resin on the clay, to avoid air bubbles, you can go over the resin with a lighter or mini gas burner, for a fraction of a second to "pop" any bubbles.
We recommend putting your finished pieces under a UV lamp for at least 20 minutes and then in daylight for another 12h.
We ourselves let the finished items "rest" on the window in sunlight for at least a full day (or even 2 in low sunlight or gray days). Why!!! Because you will continue to see fingerprints for a long time and of course you want to avoid this! No UV lamp! In sunlight (or daylight) it takes a little longer but even in this the epoxy hardens. Your patience will certainly be rewarded.
Tip: use our silicone tools to spread the resin, you can easily peel it off after use.
*Don't overdo it with sunlight either, excessive exposure will cause yellowing!!! So adhere to the above and after curing, make sure that you do not display the finished items in the sun (for example, a display on the window).
